Bull Island
Bird's Eye View, Rock's Eye View
Birds see Bull Island from a height, but they also see in extreme closeup when they bring their heads down to feed. Rocks are conscious of gravity, not light, so their view of the island may seem distorted to us. I invite viewers to explore these perspectives.
Clare O'Beara is a writer and tree surgeon living in Dublin.
For my photography project during Spring 2020, I chose to record Bull Island, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in North Dublin Bay. I enjoy photographing nature and I show the island as an amenity.
